Old misty Chinese movie

Have you ever seen a movie where they have the Chinese scene in some port of call, the mist is floating everywhere, and the smell of the river is dank and fishy. That is what I woke up to. Tina was all ambitious and wanted to go do some tia chi and I wanted to roam around the boat watching the workers off the dock. It truly looked and felt like an old Chinese movie.
The dragon head is on a ship next to ours, which is their local transportation.

The gondola is the only way off and on to the ship. Quite a leap if you decided to walk.

DAMN THAT’S BIG
Even though our ship was right next to the damn we couldn’t exactly see it, so we went to the damn park and visitor’s center. It was quite interesting. The damn makes Glen Canyon damn look like a peanut. It is big‼‼!

KITE FLYING
Kite flying is only as good as the operator. They had a person on the ship selling kites and so we all went up to the top of the ship to watch. Well watching turned into operating. At one point we had the kites out so far that they were going to hit the bottom of the bridges we were going under. So of course everyone had to laugh at me trying to real it in. On the other hand it could have been worse. Opal couldn’t keep her eagle kite up in the air. Somewhere along the river there is an eagle floating amongst the locals. We celebrated the eagle’s release with drinks with our new friends.

HOT TIME IN THE OLD TOWN TONIGHT
Believe me we were hot, the Yangtze can be very muggy. After dinner the ship put on an evening show of Chinese dance and dress. It was absolutely gorgeous.
