Sacrificing for your religion

Cappadocia, "the Land of Beautiful Horses" and fairytale homes. We will spend two days in this region. First off to an underground city. There were underground cities where Christians hid from persecution, later many others found refuge for a variety of reasons. As we walked through this city it was hard to believe people lived here and for so long just to save themselves from death and persecution.






As we left this lady was coming out of a bake house with loaves of bread, so our bus driver stopped to buy some for us. It was amazing bread. When we stopped these boys came running up to the bus to say "hi" so Dilek asked if anyone had candy bars to offer them. Then of course more children came up.



We stopped to see the sun set over the volcanic warn ancient figures.


Yes there is a home in one of them.
